This kit needs an intermediate skill level.

This kit is knit in Bernat Denim Style yarn, which is 70% soft acrylic and 30% soft cotton. This yarn can be machine washed and dried. The sweater has the appearance of a woven texture, but this is all accomplished using knit and purl stitches. No special techniques are required.

The kit contains a pattern book Bernat 530113 and ten balls of yarn. The ten balls of yarn will knit any size up to extra large, which is for a 44 inch (112 cm) chest size, and produces a finished size of 49 inches (125 cm). The smallest size is for a 34 inch (86 cm) chest giving a finished size of 42 inches (107 cm).

You will also need one pair of 4.5mm (US7) needles, one pair of 5mm (US8) needles, and one circular needle 4.5mm (US7) by 60 cm (24 inches) long. These are not included in the kit.
