If you cast on 16 stitches and knit every row you get a scarf which contains 2 to 4 inch blocks, each block being a different yarn. If you cast on about 170 stitches on a long circular needle (but knit back and forth) you will get a totally different effect with rows being in different yarns. Two skeins (hanks) make a good size scarf. Three skeins make a big scarf.
Use your imagination!
Tension: 12 stitches to 4 inches (10 cm) on an 8 mm (US 11) needle or
15 stitches to 4 inches (10 cm) on a 6.5 mm (US 10½) needle.
Cleaning: Hand wash, dry flat.
Available in a 50 gram (1¾ ounce) hank or skein.
