Meilenweit Colortweed by Lana Grossa is a space dyed ragg sock yarn. The ragg effect means that there are two strands of contrasting coloured yarns wound together, and the space dyed means that the colours change gradually along the length of the yarn. The image shows the effect when knit into socks.

The composition is 80% virgin wool, and 20% Polyamide (nylon). Meilenweit means "For Miles" in English, and this yarn has very good yardage.

This yarn can be machine washed. One ball will make one pair of socks.

Tension: 28 stitches and 40 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) on a 2.5 to 3 mm (US 2) needle.

Cleaning: Machine washable, dry flat.

Available in a 100 gram (3½ ounce) ball.
Contains approximately 420 metres (460 yards.)
