This kit is a great introduction to felting. It comes with complete instructions on how to felt as well as detailed instructions to knit the bag. The kit contains 4 balls of Patons Classic Merino Wool in a colour of your choice and Patons book 500999 "Great Felted Bags".

The finished size of the bag is about 15 inches (38 cm) by 11½ inches (29 cm) excluding the handles.

Classic Merino Wool is a very good yarn for felting. We usually do not recommend the white colours as they are more difficult to felt because they may have been bleached.

You will also need one pair of 4.5 mm (US 7) knitting needles, and one set of 4.5 mm (US 7) double pointed needles. These are not included in the kit.
