Yarn Forward is a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business.

Yarn Forward started as a mail order company on November 1st, 1996, selling knitting products on the Internet.
On September 15th, 1997, Yarn Forward opened its first retail outlet in Kanata, Ontario.
On October 8th, 1998, Yarn Forward opened its second retail outlet in Ottawa, Ontario. The Ottawa store is also a Husqvarna Viking Sewing Machine and Serger dealer.
In March 2003 Yarn Forward launched three separate web sites. One for US & International customers, one for Canada, and one for the UK.
In May 2005, Yarn Forward won the Husqvarna Viking International Rising Star award.

Yarn Forward Inc. is a corporation registered in Ontario with the Ministry of Consumer and Corporate Affairs.
