In this class you will learn techniques used in constructing a tailored men's dress shirt. The shirt will include a double yolk back, patch pocket, classic collar stand with full length sleeves with cuff. The objective is to learn how to effortlessly construct a shirt with confidence and end up with a finished product comparable to one purchased. Basic sewing skill are a prerequisite. We will supply the sergers and sewing machines.
Suggested patterns: Kwik Sew 3422; McCalls 6044 or 2149; Simplicity 7030.
Recommended lightweight woven fabrics; cotton, cotton types, oxford cloth, broadcloth or chambray.
