Advanced Free Motion Embroidery

This class is for students who already know how to stitch free motion style but want to learn more. Basic knowledge of free motion stitching is required.

Some of the techniques to be covered will be: how to embroider on sheer fabrics, monogramming, shading techniques, directional stitching, texture, and bobbin work. Many different types of thread will be used including polyester, cotton, soy silk, and nylon. This is a techniques class. Students will go home with samples and notes for further reference.

This is a three week course, 2 hours per lesson. Cost $48.00 There is a kit required for this course containing the basic materials.
