Marble Chunky
Marble Chunky by James C. Brett is a marl, which means that it has two plies of different shades spun together. But in this yarn, the plies change colour along their length, so this yarn knits into bands of colour and also produces a very unique effect. The coat shown on the right was knit sideways and shows how the yarn knits into bands of colour. This yarn is 100% acrylic, and is machine washable and dryable. It comes in a huge 200 gram (7 ounce) ball.
Tension: knits 14 stitches to 4 inches (10 cm) on a 5.5 mm (US9) needle.
Cleaning: Machine wash and dry.
Available in a 200 gram (7 ounce) ball.
Contains approximately 312 metres (341 yards.)
Please note that the colours shown on these shade cards are only approximate.
