Cottontots by Bernat is a worsted weight, 100% cotton yarn, designed for making children's garments and blankets. This yarn has a wrap to prevent it from stretching, and it is machine washable and dryable.

This kit is for children aged 6 months to 2 years, and is of intermediate difficulty. It requires only five balls of yarn for the solid colours, and seven balls for the variegated colours (which have a shorter yardage). A pattern is provided.

You will also require one pair of 4 mm (US 6) knitting needles or the size required to obtain gauge, and 5 buttons. These are not included in the kit.
