This book from Leisure Arts has ten designs to knit and crochet. They all use worsted weight yarn (KW).

The designs cover a large range of dog sizes. Measure your dog around the chest just behind the front legs, and around the neck. The smallest size covered is 5 inches (13 cm) neck and 9 inches (23 cm) chest. The largest size is 20 inch (51cm) neck and 30 inch (76 cm) chest.
